There was a great turnout of both club members and non-members.

There was food, food and more food.

President Howard Poutney introduces Jamie Delgado and Martin Lee.

Jamie Delgado is the current GB number 5, and is world ranked 205.

Martin Lee is a former world junior number one.

The pros played a set of exhibition tennis.

The events of the day were in aid of leukaemia research.

Everybody enjoyed the great weather as well as the great tennis.

But the hot weather did not stop the players giving it their all.

Jamie chases down a forehand.

The serve dominated, with both players hitting some spectacular aces.

Wish I had a backhand like this!

The big crowd were gripped.

After a hard-fought set, Martin finished the winner by 7 - 6.

Thanks to Jason the umpire and Peter the ballboy (!).

After the exhibition, club members and visitors had a chance to "Beat the Pro".

For a £5 charity donation, you could try to beat Jamie or Martin in a tie-break.

The photographer from the Bucks Free Press gets close to the action.

Lots of the juniors played impressively against the pros.

The crowds remained to see if anybody could actually beat the pros.

But even with passing shots like this from Roger, nobody managed it.

Another of the juniors serves agains Jamie.

Neil chats to Jamie and Martin after his tie-break.

Joe keeps things running smoothly.

Martin prepares to receive another serve.

The reporter from the Bucks Free Press has a go against Jamie.

Everybody who played Beat the Pro received a signed certificate.

Martin sends down a big serve to Nigel.

And David tries to return the compliment.

Jamie
is clearly being made to work hard by the juniors.
