Court Resurfacing, May 2004, Update (30/05/2004)

The re-painting of courts 1, 2 & 3 was completed last week, and they are ready to play on now.

Court Resurfacing, May 2004, Update (19/05/2004)

After several delays due to poor weather, the re-painting of courts 1, 2 & 3 is now scheduled to take place on Monday May the 24th.

If the weather is fine and the painting does go ahead, these 3 courts will be unavailable for play for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but should be fit to play on for Thursday.

For information, the new court colours will be green with a brown surround (as opposed to brown with green surround on the other three courts).

Court Resurfacing, December 2003, Update (28/12/2003)

We are pleased to say that the resurfacing of courts 1, 2 and 3 has now been completed.

The courts will remain all black, with temporary lines until the spring, when the warmer weather will allow us to have them painted properly.

You are requested not to play on the courts until the first weekend in January. This is just to make sure they have all the time they need to dry completely. After this, the courts may be used as normal, though please do not use new tennis balls on the black courts, as they will become discoloured.
